Trading on Pilotlight
How one-tap buys and sells work, and what you sign.
Pilotlight never holds your funds or keys. When you buy or sell, your wallet sends the trade directly to the token's pons bonding curve. You see and approve every transaction in your own wallet.
Buying
- Enter an amount of ETH (or pick a preset) and a slippage limit.
- Pilotlight quotes the tokens you'll get using the curve's own pricing and fees.
- Your wallet shows one batched transaction: the buy on the curve and the Pilotlight fee. Wallets without batching show two.
Selling
Enter an amount or a percentage of your balance. If the curve isn't approved to move your tokens yet, the approval is added to the same batch. You can also sell 50% or 100% in one tap from your portfolio.
Quick buy
The ⚡ button on every Pulse card buys the amount you picked at the top of the page with 10% slippage. It won't buy while the snipe tax is above 10%.
Slippage and snipe tax
Slippage is the most the price may move against you before the trade reverts. In the first 5 seconds after launch pons adds a snipe tax of up to 99%; the trade panel shows it when it applies.
